African penguin. Abby wanted to see these bad. We went once and they were asleep and hiding, then came back and there they were. We went to zoo like three times.

They have lots of wonderful flora and fauna at the Honoluu zoo. 

We went to Pearl Harbor twice....Bowfin submarine

You didn't even get your own bunk. One shift slept and then replaced with the other shift.In the stern guns there is a shower and toilet, for officers. So you got to live in the tiny room with a dozen other dudes and couldn't even use the tiny toilet.

Not advantageous to be stationed on a sub in WWII. The memorial to submarines is large, with most of them sunk and crews lost.

 The War Memorial. It's sad this is in such a state of disrepair. There is so much &%&!! money in Waikiki, and they can't preserve this? It's shameful.
