 It began with running into Sarah Palin at the Anc airport.

 

Thanks to OH Congressman Turner we got a private tour of the Capitol.

As soon as Abigail returned she was elected to student government. Her platform was not strong, but she won the popular vote!

Rodeo and Fair

Abby entered a lot of artwork in the Kodiak Rodeo and State Fair this year. I did not have as much to enter. In years past I have been a grand champion (pie, artwork) and several first places for jams, but this year by jellies were a bust! I'll still eat them.

 

 I did get a first for peanut potatoes, but then again, I was probably the only entry!

 And who knew I would like rodeos?! Abby likes the bull riding.

 So many, but they kinda went fast. All the berries are done early this year due to warm temps. I have canned, jammed, and froze.

 Out the road camping trip with my co-workers and random others.
