For years my grandparents sent me oranges and grapefruit from Mixon's in Bradenton. I finally got to visit the farm"!
We saw a little of the orange grove, but most of the tour was spent at a small wildlife refuge.
The injured egret, which cannot be released due to injury, attracted a wild egret, and they fell in love. Unfortunately, they can't actually be together, so the inured one will be moved to a new facility, and the wild one will have to look for wild lovin'.
Orange and vanilla swirl! It was goooood!
