Abby's letter in school for the week was X. Her X word was "cat treat extortionist."

I like the cats don't eat flowers, they eat mice!

 Sometimes he comes in handy.

I wish I could have thought of something to say. All I could hear was the pounding of my heart and feel the rush of my blood. I wish I knew what I did, or what it is you think I did. Timmy says that it's probably just cause you a puss and I should own it, but how can I own something so dumb? How you can deny my existence so easily, and why do I deserve it?

Timothy also says, in his typical manner, "Take it now or later, but if you can't handle it now, you won't be able to deal with it later."

Fun with Brian

Brian is a shipwright. He taught me how to caulk a boat. You take a"corking" mallet, an iron, and either cotton or, oh just watch the video...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeAKD_yy7Uo

Brian reminded me to have an open heart, and to have fun!

Digital cameras do not seem to capture backlighting the way that film does.

The moon coming up, and the sun going down.

On his last day on the Rock, we watched the sun set together.

Awesome time in Anton's

Asher, you lush! Asher goes everywhere with Abby. We adopted her at the Salvation Army in Juneau.

So Alaskan!

They are starting to come out. May is spider month.

Abby fed "dees" (Chickadees)

and this little bird

and chickens.

We went fishing!

I caught a cod!

Brian played bull kelp to entice more cod to come aboard. According to Abby, we caught Chuck the fish, and his nephew.

Fresh cod soooooo good!!! Just the rice was not local.

We planted peas.

We had a beach party.

Someone buried Abby.

Abby, who buried you?!

Never Enough

Raspberries. I picked A LOT last year. Been eating them everyday and I still have maybe a month's worth.

 Started my garden.

Get to see good friends. Brian, the shipwright who taught me how to caulk a boat!

 Finished some pottery.

This is not hers, but Abby has been making a lot too. She has been working on little things. She has inspired me to think outside the box so to speak!

 Good times.

As much as I do, it's never enough. Don't want this sun to set!
