Things we do

I take a lot of photos. I miss a lot of photo opps. I post a fraction of the photos. Imagine all you are not seeing, and all the images I didn't capture.

I often do not take pictures of things we do often, like going to Sargent Park and playing hide and seek.

Or at the end of our walk in the woods how we play this game at the fish tech building. We have been playing the same game since Abby was 3. We run around on the landscape border wall, "racing" (I follow), to get to the pine cones or rocks.  Abby has of course expanded on this theme to include pirate battles, mazes, etc.

Here is a shortcut we are allowed to take.

 Mom, take this picture.
mom, it's a fish with it's tongue sticking out.

Hide and seek with monkey toes

I found you! We play hide and seek.

The sun does actually shine on occasion. I inevitably fall asleep on a sandbank to awaken to being buried!

Monkey toes. She was totally busy drawing in the sand, I don;t think even realizing she was flipping the rock around with her toes.

We also spend a lot of time drawing in the sand, selling what we make.

Learning Alutiiq

As I mentioned, Abby was in the only Kindergarten class in which they taught Alutiiq.

I have no idea what this says and it could be totally mixed up.
