The Kodiak Fair and Rodeo was Labor Day weekend. Unlike previous years, I did not enter anything and thus no blue ribbons for pottery or pie. We had tons of fun though. Abby got a pony ride, we did Zumba (it public!), played games, petted animals, saw the entries of veges, crafts, and muffins, and saw a little rodeo.

On Monday we went to Pasagshak. It was WINDY! Instead of the
beaches we normally go to, we walked down an ATV road to the north side
of Narrow Cape to a gravel lagoon shore. The gravel happened to be comprised of fossils!
We hung out at this large driftwood bunk, complete with sleeping shelter and bench

We also stopped at the Olds River and examined the live and dead humpies
