Grand Champion Pie Makers!

Abby and I have picked a lot of berries, made jam, and baked pies. We entered our products in the Kodiak State Fair.

 I like fairs, Kodiak's is of course rather small, but still a great time (for kids).

Abby did really well. She was the youngest and cam in third. It was that dang crust that hung her up!

 Canning seemed like one of the largest divisions.

 We won the GRAND CHAMPION prize for our locally harvested rhubarb, blueberry and raspberry (no seeds) pie!

With her prize money Abby got a swirly pop!
